The fabric-mcp-server exposes Fabric patterns as tools for integration with Cline through the Model Context Protocol. Built by adapoet, this TypeScript implementation loads patterns from a configurable directory and makes them available as individual tools that can be executed directly within Cline tasks. The server reads each pattern's system.md file and combines it with user input to generate responses, enabling AI-driven pattern execution without leaving the Cline environment. It includes a recommendation feature that suggests appropriate patterns based on task descriptions, making it particularly valuable for developers who want to leverage Fabric's pattern library within their VS Code workflow.
