Pages CMS Open Source Content Management for GitHub Repositories

Pages CMS is an open-source content management system built on top of GitHub. It provides a visual editing interface for managing content in Git repositories, purpose-built for static sites and content-driven apps using Jekyll, Hugo, Next.js, Astro, and similar frameworks.

Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:

• git clone https://github.com/pagescms/pagescms.git
• docker run --name pagescms-db -e POSTGRES_USER=pagescms -e POSTGRES_PASSWORD=pagescms -e POSTGRES_DB=pagescms -p 5432:5432 -d postgres:16
• npm install
• npm run setup:github-app -- --base-url http://localhost:3000

Basic usage or getting-started notes:

• You can use the hosted version directly at app.pagescms.org, or run your own local development copy from this repository.
