Gearsystem is a highly accurate Sega Master System, Game Gear, and SG-1000 emulator written in C++ that includes an embedded MCP server for AI-assisted debugging. The MCP interface exposes tools for execution control, memory inspection, breakpoints, disassembly, and hardware status monitoring, enabling AI agents to interact with the emulator's debugging capabilities.

The emulator supports multiple cartridge formats, automatic region detection, YM2413 FM sound, save states, and runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, and RetroArch. The MCP server can operate via stdio or HTTP transport.
