Verdaccio Lightweight Private npm Proxy Registry

Verdaccio is a lightweight, zero-config private npm proxy registry that caches packages from npmjs.org and hosts private packages. It supports npm, yarn, and pnpm with authentication, access control, and plugin extensibility for managing internal JavaScript packages.

Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:

• npm install -g verdaccio@next-9
• yarn global add verdaccio@next-9
• pnpm i -g verdaccio@next-9
• docker pull verdaccio/verdaccio:nightly-master

Requirements and caveats from upstream:

• Version 6 requires Node.js 18 or higher and is maintained in the 6.x branch
