zx JavaScript Shell Script Runner

Write better shell scripts in JavaScript using Google's zx. Provides cross-platform wrappers around child_process with argument escaping, sensible defaults, and access to the full npm ecosystem for automation tasks.

Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:

• npm install zx

Requirements and caveats from upstream:

• JavaScript is a perfect choice, but the Node.js standard library
• requires additional hassle before using. No compromise, take the best of both. The zx package provides
• Node.js >= 12.17.0

• bash
