This MCP implementation, developed by Alex Howard, provides a tool for importing Supernotes exports into Obsidian daily notes. Built with Python, it leverages the Model Context Protocol to streamline the process of transferring and formatting notes between these two popular note-taking applications. The script creates daily notes from templates, cleans up formatting, adds wikilinks for proper nouns, and handles OCR errors. By automating these tasks, it significantly reduces the manual effort required when migrating from Supernotes to Obsidian. This implementation is particularly useful for knowledge workers, researchers, and students who are transitioning between note-taking systems or looking to maintain a consistent daily journaling practice within Obsidian while importing content from Supernotes.
