GBIF Biodiversity provides access to the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) API, enabling queries across 2.4 billion specimen and observation records, species taxonomy matching, dataset metadata, and publishing organizations. Supports geographic filtering with bounding boxes, WKT polygons, and country codes, plus optional GBIF API key authentication for higher rate limits. Available as a hosted remote endpoint or self-hosted via Docker or Cloudflare Workers.
