Highlight.io Open Source Full-Stack Monitoring Platform

Highlight.io is an open-source full-stack monitoring platform combining session replay, error monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing in a single cohesive tool. Self-hostable via Docker, it provides complete application observability for frontend and backend.

Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:

• git clone --recurse-submodules https://github.com/highlight/highlight

Requirements and caveats from upstream:

• Deploy a hobby instance in one line on Linux with Docker (we recommend at least 8GB of RAM, 4 CPUs, and 64 GB of disk space):
• cd docker && ./run-hobby.sh
• After a brief frontend load time, the app should be accessible at https://localhost. Use the password set in docker/.env variable ADMIN_PASSWORD with any valid email address.
