Built with Python and pyepics, it exposes tools for getting PV values, setting PV values, and retrieving detailed PV information through a standardized interface. The server implements robust error handling with detailed logging, supports timeout configuration, and can be easily integrated with LangChain-based agents, making it valuable for engineers and operators who need their AI assistants to interact with EPICS-controlled hardware systems without writing custom integration code.
