Azure CLI — Command-Line Interface for Microsoft Azure

The Azure CLI provides cross-platform command-line access to Microsoft Azure services for managing VMs, databases, Kubernetes, AI services, and hundreds of cloud resources with consistent hierarchical commands.

Prerequisites

Python 3.9+, pip or platform package manager

Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:

• $ docker run -u $(id -u):$(id -g) -v ${HOME}:/home/az -e HOME=/home/az --rm -it mcr.microsoft.com/azure-cli:<version>
• brew install --build-from-source azure-cli.rb
