Prerequisites

Node.js or npm, gemini-cli, Gemini account or API credentials

Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:

• npx @google/gemini-cli
• npm install -g @google/gemini-cli
• brew install gemini-cli
• conda create -y -n gemini_env -c conda-forge nodejs

Basic usage or getting-started notes:

• Run instantly with npx

• bash

• sudo port install gemini-cli
