Available on GitLab.com, self-managed, and dedicated instances, it provides access to project information, issue and merge request data, and CI/CD operations with OAuth 2.0 Dynamic Client Registration for automatic tool authentication. Users connect via the /api/v4/mcp endpoint using HTTP transport for streamlined GitLab workflow integration.
