Prerequisites

Python environment, spec-kitty-cli, git, a repository under active development, and access to one of the supported AI coding agents

Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:

• pipx install spec-kitty-cli
• pipx is the preferred installer for the CLI because it keeps Spec Kitty in its
• uv tool install spec-kitty-cli
• python -m pip install spec-kitty-cli
