Codex Gopls integrates the official Go language server into the Codex coding environment through MCP. It provides six tools — hover, definition, references, document symbols, workspace symbols, and diagnostics — enabling AI assistants to navigate Go codebases intelligently. The server supports both stdio and HTTP daemon modes with CI validation across multiple platforms.
