Timewarrior Command-Line Time Tracking and Reporting

Timewarrior is a command-line time tracking tool from the Taskwarrior project. It records time intervals with tags, generates flexible reports, and integrates with Taskwarrior for automatic time tracking of tasks. Data is stored as plain text files with no database required.

Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:

• git clone --recurse-submodules https://github.com/GothenburgBitFactory/timewarrior
• cmake -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=release -S . -B _build
• cmake --build _build -j

Requirements and caveats from upstream:

• Building Timewarrior yourself requires
• Python 3 (for running the testsuite)
• The cmake --install command may not require sudo depending on your choice of install location.

Basic usage or getting-started notes:

• Build Timewarrior, optionally run the test suite, and install it.
