Nuclei Vulnerability Template Runner

Executes ProjectDiscovery Nuclei security scanning templates against target URLs. Supports custom YAML template authoring, CVE detection via nuclei-templates repository, and SARIF output for GitHub Security tab integration.

Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:

• go install -v github.com/projectdiscovery/nuclei/v3/cmd/nuclei@latest

Requirements and caveats from upstream:

• nuclei requires go >= 1.24.2 to install successfully. Run the following command to get the repo:
• -headless enable templates that require headless browser support (root user on Linux will disable sandbox)
