Cookiecutter Project Bootstrap

Bootstraps new projects from Cookiecutter templates with variable substitution and post-generation hooks. Supports remote template repositories via the cookiecutter CLI and Jinja2 rendering engine.

Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:

• uv tool install cookiecutter
• If you plan to use Cookiecutter programmatically, please run uv add cookiecutter to add it to your project. Then you can import and use it like this:
