This project pairs an MCP server with a GIMP 3.x plugin to expose GIMP's image editing and automation capabilities to AI assistants. The server communicates with the GIMP plugin over a local Unix socket, providing tools for checking GIMP status, retrieving image bitmaps, and executing image editing operations. Compatible with Claude Desktop and other MCP-compatible clients.
