GitUI Blazing Fast Terminal Git Interface

GitUI is a fast terminal-based user interface for Git written in Rust. It provides keyboard-driven staging, committing, branching, stashing, and log browsing with async Git operations that outperform other terminal Git clients on large repositories.

Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:

• brew install gitui
• conda install -c conda-forge gitui

Requirements and caveats from upstream:

• To run the complete test suite python is required (and it must be invocable as python)

Basic usage or getting-started notes:

• Minimum supported rust/cargo version: 1.88
