linkding Self-Hosted Bookmark Manager with REST API

linkding is a minimal, fast, self-hosted bookmark manager with a full REST API, tag-based organization, automatic metadata extraction, web archiving, browser extensions, and SSO support. It runs in Docker and is built with Django and Python.

Installation

Use the upstream install or setup path that matches your environment:

• make init
• uv run manage.py createsuperuser --username=joe --email=joe@example.com
• make frontend
• make serve

Requirements and caveats from upstream:

• It's designed be to be minimal, fast, and easy to set up using Docker.
• Python 3.13
• Node.js
